The Renault Corporation was the worlds biggest. It monopolized almost everything. Medical facilities, electronics, etc. But what the public didn't know, was that it was secretly developing biological hazards to use for military purpose. They created the X7 Virus which, after an accident in the lab, released it.
It made its way out of the lab, going airborne first. Then by blood. Every human supposedly died off, but there are some humans that are alive, but they are suffering 'side effects' of the X7. After everything settled, the canines emerged, and became immune to it. They are now the ruling species here. Chicago was once a thriving city, now its reduced to nothing.
To cover up their mistake, the Corporation built a 200 story wall around the city, enclosing it in some kind of tomb. Nothing gets in , nothing gets out. The dogs have formed packs. Will you become one of the lucky few?
