Her paws pounded at the earth as the female wolf ran as fast as her legs could carry her. Adrenalin rushed through her veins as her heart pounded in her chest. Savannah's blue eyes were wide with fear, and she gasped for air as she weaved through the trees that towered above her spotted body. The hound that was close on her heals was one she had never seen before, and one she wished she never met. His large body was covered in fur of jet black, with eyes the color of flames. She could hear his roars behind her, and suddenly with a loud SNAP, she tripped and fell into some leaves. Within moments the brute pushed her down before she could fully rise and bit onto her throat. She gasped for air as the male slowly strangled her to death. "Now you shall pay for what you've done!" He yelled as her vision began to fade. Her eyes looked above her and saw a raven flying overhead, it's caws louder then anything she had ever heard. It continued to make it's calls until her visions faded into darkness.
With a panicked gasp for breath, Savannah opened her closed eyes and awoke from the nightmare. Her blue eyes darted around as she laid in her small spot under a birch tree. "It was just a dream..." She said to herself, as she slowly rose up with stiff joints. It was still dark, although she could see the early morning lights begin to filter through the trees canopy. Thinking back, she remembered coming here out of being bored. The wolf mix must have fallen asleep, and allowing such nightmares to invade her dreams. She let out a yawn and stretched out her front legs, wondering what time it was. She took a cautious look around once more before taking her steps forward.

Infectious' paws lightly touched the forest floor. His harks were pricked ,acoustics cupping any faint noise that might come to them. His ice blue eyes were locked a head, scanning for any signs of movement. The german shepherd brute slinked through the forest on the dirt path. his tail waved behind him like a banner, swaying through the air.
a brisk cold breeze ruffled his ebony and ivory mixed fur. his lower jaw dropped ,salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting over his bottom two canines as he panted ever so slightly.
a few snow flurries had begun sticking to his fur. he didn't care though. he rather liked the winter. his pads burned from the cold ground. as he neared a spot, his nose detected a female. she was a wolf mix by the scent. he cautiously approached her and stopped, keeping his body rigid.
"Hello. what's your name lovely?" he implied, smirking at her as his ice blue eyes locked on hers. Fectious loved flirting with the females regardless of what breed they were. it was one of his most favorite things in the world other than making some lives miserable. he watched and waited

:: Savannah :: While Savannah walked, her thoughts wondered to why she had such a strange and vivid dream. Her paws kicked up a few pebbles as a few snow flurries fell onto her body. She didn't mild, her pelt helped her keep warm enough from the cold. just as she raised a paw to step over a tree limb she heard a voice behind her slender frame. She froze in place as she listened to a brute as what her name was. Slowly she turned around, and saw what looked like a German Shepard. She squinted her eyelids a bit as she looked him over. " My name is Savannah." She said, wondering what he was thinking at the moment. " What is your name?"
Slowly, more snow began to fall. Her breath could be seen in front of her face, and she stiffly shook the snow off her pelt and wagged her tail in a friendly manner. In the back of her mind she wondered how long this male had been following her. She didn't really mind, she liked his eyes anyways.

Snow was drifting down in soft, slow circles; it danced in an invisible breeze, swirling around the orange dog's face and paws as she trekked trough the cold powder. The flecked appearance the white flakes caused against her flaming orange coat was comical; the small female tried not to think about it, pausing in her excursion to shake her thick coat. Her brown eyes watched as the disturbance caused even more flakes to burst up from the ground. Oh, but she loved the snow.
Her ears perked upward slightly as the sound of voices ahead of her came to her attention. She quickened her pace, her banner-like tail held high. As she neared the pair, her nostrils quivered as their scents wafted to her nose. A female and a male.
"Yo." She said, her eyes glinting slightly. She smirked at them, wondering just what it was they had been up to... or were about to be up to.

Catching itself in a draft of cool air. Twirling and twisting around like in some kind of erotic dance with the wind. Winter brought blizzards and lots of unwanted snow that Nicia didn't like. 'Didn't like were to weak, hate was a stronger word and fit how she felt. It wasn't towards the season itself but more towards the memories and feelings it brought. But Nicia put aside her feelings and tried to look to the positive. Not that there was any. Abruptly the train of thought was interrupted. Her auds fell backwards against her head upon catching the voice of someone in the distance.
In a world where dog eat dog and death was your only options in certain situations. It wasn't surprising to come across anything. Hell, even the dead were walking the earth. Trust worthy people were hard to find anymore and it was hard even to trust yourself or your own instincts.
"Yo.." The comment snapped Nicias' attention to her side. The golden brown dog that had slipped the greeting was facing and going in the other direction. But was the 'yo' meant for her? Nicia had no idea but she wasn't going to stand there and be rude. She padded behind the dog and came up to the source of the voices earlier. Slipping out an awkward greeting. "H-hi..."

Infectious looked up at the new females that had approached him. He flashed them a grin.
One of them appeared to be shy but he wasn't sure.
"Hello! I am Infectious so don't get to close" He joked winking at them. "But nah that's my name dearies. What brings lovely creatures like yourself out here?"
He implied looking from each female to the next.
He was surrounded by females. This was great. Infectious planted his rump down on the ground, letting his front forelegs keep his upper body erect. Both ears were pricked, showing the females that they had his undivided attention. His blue eyes moved from the wolf mix to the toller to the third female.
His tail flicked from side to side behind him, stirring up a little bit of dust. His lower jaw dropped, salmon pink tongue lolling out and resting on his bottom two canines. As he panted and exhaled, a small wisp of cloud erupted from his nostrils and evaporated into the air. The weather was brisk for November and the sky was a battleship gray. Snow flurries were occasional, sticking to his fur and trunks of trees. He waited for them to speak

:: Savannah :: Savannah allowed a small playful smile dance across her face as she listened to the male speak. She could see how Infectious got his name, because he had a somewhat infectious personality. "Infectious eh? Nice name - I've never met anyone with that name before. " She said cheerfully as she lifted a hind leg up slightly to scratch a bug bite on her side. She saw others, females come out of the forest and into the area and say their own greetings. To tell the truth, the female wolf mix had never seen so many dogs in one place. All her life she had been a loner, born and raised as one. Only recently did she join a pack and she still was getting used to crowds.
"I came here because I heard that there was some old abandon laboratories of sorts here. I always love see new places and meeting other dogs." She said with a soft smile as she looked at the others that came in. "Hello." She barked, her tail wagging, swishing a few flurries the fell onto it. Her blue eyes looked at each of the dogs and wondered if they would join into the conversation.
