Infectious' paws lightly touched the ground outside the Renault Corporations building. He looked up. the building towered above him. the building looked foreboding and dark. there were a few glass panes missing, while others were shattered or cracked.
Infectious took a few steps inside the lobby. couches and chairs were set up in a corner with a small table in the middle of them. the floor was littered with work papers and dust. some of the papers had red splotches on them which Infectious wondered if it was blood.
the couches were leather and bits of the leather was peeling off and cracked. a security desk was behind that with old computer monitors and a swivel chair. He paused briefly to look before continuing down the main hall where about 5 elevators were. oddly, two of them still worked. he cautiously stepped into one car and reared up onto his hind legs and used his front paw to press the first button he could reach. Floor 1.
the elevator acscended and the doors opened with a loud 'ping'. he stopped, unsure if there were a few daylighters possibly in here. he poked his head out and scanned the hall. silence met his ears. he began slowly walking down the hall, his body tense and taut.

Each direction the canine looked all he could see were more and more stairs. Was there even a top to this place? Or maybe a bottom floor? It was a horrible idea to ever venture into this forsaken place. An awful stench drifted from under the closed doors. Crowley was confused. He didn't have any idea where he was or what he was doing there. Surely this place he had managed to lock himself inside was used as some form of escape for the humans way back in the day. But why was there no way out?
Sure, there were doors at the end of every set of stairs, but they were all large, heavy, and closed. A soft whimper escaped the male's throat as he padded back up a flight of stairs and looked eagerly at the door. Rearing up, he scratched at the closed exit in hopes that it would open. It wouldn't be that easy.
Pacing back and forth in front of this door he turned around and headed back down the stairs he had just climbed only moments before. Leaping down the flight he rammed his entire body against the exit, a large thumping noise echoed in the eery place. Running up the stairway once again he rammed into that door. By this time his entire body was beginning to feel sore and bruised. Releasing a large huff from deep in his chest he slammed his body against the door - one last time - and managed to push it open.
At last! Freedom was within his sight! With enough momentum built up he burst from the doorway, was almost immediately caught off balance, and toppled to the floor. Glancing around he noticed he was now in a hallway of some sort and he must have tripped or ran into something. He swallowed his excitement and glanced around him. But what had he run into?
