Cyanide's paws lightly touched the amusement park. Her twin harks were raised, acoustics cupping any faint noise might come to them. her ice blue eyes were locked a head, scanning for any signs of movement.
her ebony and ivory fur blew softly in the fall breeze. It was getting cooler, which didn't bother her. she liked the cold weather. She snickered, wondering what other losers would be hanging around here. Still, she was wanting a pack and a home, even though she wouldn't admit it right out.
Her bushy banner waved behind her as she moved. Her legs moved easily as she trotted and loped.
She jumped onto an old merry-go-round and planted her rump down on the cool titanium base. some of the horses paint was peelin and chipping away, from years of neglect. Her head swiveled around, listning to some of the bits of paper blowing in the wind and wrapping around poles and whatnot. Her nose twitched.
She could still smell the scent of death and disease around here. There were a few bodies strewn around, completely decayed. She wrinkled her nose and cringed inwardly. While this place was horrible, she found she rather liked it on some level.

It was cold. Oh so cold for the short haired dane that had wandered away from her warm den to patrol her territory. The spotted single layer coat did nothing to protect her from the biting winds and gently falling snow but what had to be done, had to be done. "I wish I was back home..."[/i] she grumbled to herself as she walked along, large paws trying for purchase on frozen ground. Her claws bit rivets in the thin ice where she walked, leaving small trails if someone were to look closely enough.
It seemed like a normal enough day though Riley knew there was something out of sorts and she couldn't quite put her finger on it. but whatever it was, it had her on alert. As she entered the amusement park with her massive head held high, scanning, she spotted the source of her unease. Flicking one ear back, she investigated this much fluffier creature from afar, regarding it with her dark brown eyes. "Afternoon."[/i] she said, still at a bit of a distance. "Name yourself and your business in the Linos territory."[/i] she declared.
