Capone "God, it's dark down here." He murmured to himself. He shivered slightly it was cold too. Lights flickered above him, only a few were still lit after the humans had died off. Capone had convinced himself that he wasn't afraid of anything, but being down here in the dark, cold, and deserted tunnel was enough to scare anyone.
His main concern was the 'zombie' dogs that everyone was talking about. Capone had seen some from afar a few times, but had never actually been near one. There were rumors circulating that they had a taste for flesh and were impossible to kill.
He looked behind him, he couldn't see the way he had come any longer. I must almost be there... He thought to himself, but as the tunnel stretched on and on, the less sure he became.
Capone stopped, his cocky smile wavering. Where the hell was he? He had never taken this route before, and no one ever said it was this long of a walk. He growled in frustration and snapped his strong jaws. He sat down on the cold pavement and closed his eyes to calm down a little.

PAMELA
Pamela didn't like it down here, not one bit. It was dark and scary and the few flickering lights cast shadows that hung gloomily upon the walls and made her sure that she was being followed. The dank atmosphere was musty and made breathing uncomfortable, causing her chest to inhale and exhale in rapid, unsteady breaths, ragged and drawn in almost painfully. The air hit her lungs and shocked them with the cold, and a shiver ran down Pamela's spine, her security with the current situation fading fast. The dog's ears had lowered to her skull, and her eyes were wide with what could only be described as fright, leaving the girl to wonder just why she had come down here in the first place. She had been curious, but now the poor lass was hopelessly lost and turned around with no hope for getting out alive. Oh, she was surely doomed!
The patched female whined at the thought, the sound echoing off the walls and resounding in a painful pitch that caused her to jump and shiver again. Pamela's nails tapped frantically upon the stone below her calloused feet as the lass moved at a quicker pace, her skull bobbing first one way then the other in hopes that she might find some sort of exit, but so far, she had seen nothing that might help her plight. The dame's tail had curled its rather short length beneath her, tucking to her stomach, and her posture was low and submissive, even though there was no one around to submit to. Even though Pamela's acorn eyes were wide, it was difficult to see in this dank atmosphere, and she took to hugging one of the walls that was wet with a slime, her nose wrinkling at the stink. She would rather smell bad than run face-first into a stone wall, however, and kept her position hugging the brick, a constant shiver shaking her body.
Very suddenly, Pamela was sure she had seen a figure in the gloom, and she paused, straining to make out the bulky figure that sat not too far off. Her nose told her that it was another dog, and although she wanted desperately to ask for help, the girl's wary personality caused her to remain silent for a long while. She tiptoed slightly closer to the beast, an unwanted whine escaping her lips and causing Pamela to frown at her own inability to maintain her composure. Well, he'd surely heard her now, and the female crouched against the wall, leaning into it as though it could protect her. "Ex-excuse me..." she murmured, her voice hushed and only audible because it echoed softly within the tunnel. Pamela was shocked into silence then at how loud her voice seemed in these cramped corners, and lowering her ears once again to her skull, the babe hugged the wall and maintained her pitiful stance.

Capone He heard timid footsteps behind him, they sounded hesitant and whoever it was didn't seem to be looking for a fight. He turned quickly, his eyes narrowed suspiciously, but they soon changed to a softer gaze. A female, also a pitbull, stood quivering in fear in front of him. Though they were the same breed, he towered over her. Her voice was soft and scared, it made him sad to listen to her speak as if those words would be her last. She hugged the wall as she shook, he couldn't stand it. Why did he feel pity for the scared creature? He never felt pity. He would smile when females ducked their heads and cowered. But now all he felt was... cruel.
Capone laid back down on his stomach to come to her level, "Hello," He said as softly as possible to the female, but his voice still sounded gruff and scary. He cleared his throat quickly, "I'm Capone." He added after a moments hesitation. "Are you lost?" He asked, almost in a helpful tone. Only then did he realize that he himself was also lost, and it was no use to ask someone if they were lost when you are lost yourself.
